AI receptionist for restaurants
Service is when the phone rings most and when nobody can answer it. Reservations, "are you open?", allergy questions and big-group enquiries all arrive at once, on the phone, on Instagram and on WhatsApp.
RingPost takes reservations from your real table availability, answers from your own menu, and passes allergies, private dining and anything unusual to you.
Customers also find restaurants by searching “dining”, “bistro”, “diner”.
What customers ask
The questions restaurants get all day.
- “Do you cater for dietary requirements?”
- “How far ahead should I book?”
- “How long will you hold my table?”
- “Is there parking, and are you accessible?”
- “Do you have vegetarian options?”
- “Can I book a table for a big group?”
- “Do you deliver?”
- “Where are you, and is there parking?”
How it answers
"Table for 4 at 8 on Friday?"
It checks your real availability for that party size and books it, or offers the nearest times that are free.
"Is the risotto nut-free?"
Allergy and food-safety questions are passed to you. It won't reassure a guest about an allergen on its own.
"Can we book the whole place for a party?"
Private dining and catering requests go to you as a lead, with the details it gathered.
What it won't do
- Never guarantee that a dish is free of an allergen — always say the kitchen must be asked directly.
- Never confirm a group booking above the size the owner has set without a human.
- No price or time that isn't yours.
What it hands straight to you
For restaurants, any mention of these goes to you with an alert:
- allergy
- allergic reaction
- food safety
- event hall
- private dining inquiry
- catering request
- hotel room
- book a room
- residency
It also hands over requests for a person, complaints, refunds, and any words you add.
How booking works
Tables and orders
Tables and orders: reservations by party size and time, with your own rules for large groups and how long a table is held.
A conversation
How it goes for restaurants.
And in your social posts
Posts for restaurants are checked before they go out, and never claim: "award-winning", "best in the city", "michelin star", "guaranteed fresh", "clinically proven".
Customerhey can I get a table for 6 this saturday around 8
